Today's post is about...........PARLIAMENT! So last Friday (with school, duh) we visited parliament. We went to were the debating chamber (you can't touch the chairs), we saw the earthquake strengthening at the bottom of the bee hive, the middle of the bee hive a and a mini debating chamber. My favorite part of the trip was going the mini debating chamber. It's was basically a chamber for people touring the Bee Hive so they get to learn about debating and stuff. We got to sit on the chairs each party would sit on and debate about "very" important stuff like which party is better. A few of the things we learnt were;

  • What the Government decides
  • The speakers responsibility's
  • Parliament's history
Today's fun fact is (drum roll please......)
Maori are very superstitious, believing in Gods and spirits of their ancestors.
Well thats all for today thanks for reading,

Me:3
Today's post is about BOOK GROUPS! (Again). Were're talking about book groups again because (sadly) they have ended. Well on to the Q&A!
Do you think you achieved your book group goals?
My group worked pretty well together. (Just a recap I was reading The Dark Is Rising, REALLY GOOD!), so we managed to listen to each others point of view and contribute our ideas. I think I achieved the other goals (think more deeply about the ideas in the book, and read between the lines) as well.
What do you like/not like about book groups?
