Who wants a pony?

Hello people, Lionblaze is BACK!
Image result for juggling gifWho wants a pony? Because I want a pony. Ponies are cool. But that has nothing to do with today's post, NOPE! Today I'm going to be talking about a book called juggling with mandarins. The book is about a boy called Phillip, nick named Pip, who has a really competitive dad. He feels like his dad only cares if he wins his football game or not. But the thing is Pip's REALLY BAD at football/soccer. He has a big brother called Nick and a little sister named Madeline (she is only a baby.) The book is a moving story of a boy struggling to be happy and to impress his father. OK that's my intro over and done with, time for the Q&A.
What parts did you relate to most?
Ummmmmm............? I did't relate to anything..........well maybe....... Okay I've got it! At one point in the book Pip got really hooked to a sport (Can't tell you what it is). When I was younger I started netball and, like Pip I was hooked. I still play to this day, even if I'm not any good.
Chose two characters and write about them.

Cool, here goes...........My first character is Pip. I chose him partly because he is awesome and partly because he IS the main character, so its good to know a bit about him. Pip is 13 years old and desperately wants to be as good as his big brother Nick at SOMETHING! Nick seems to be good at everything from soccer to making dad mad. All pip seems to be good at is messing stuff up, oh yeah he also has a bit of a crush on a rather pretty girl...... My second character is Madeline, shes only a baby at the age of 18 months. She is a very important character to the book, with out knowing it she encourages Pip to keep trying in his juggling ambition. Madeline helps him along his journey, as he slowly progress she to slowly progress, learning to walk, they both help each other through tough times sharing the never ending bond of sibling love.
Today's fun fact is.............(drum roll please)
In the UK it is illegal to eat mince pies on Christmas day!
Well thats all for today,

DOCTOR WHO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (no I am not overly exited)

This is the intro to each episode
Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii,
Sup people, lionblaze is in THE HOUSE, as you can see by the title;
a) this weeks topic is doctor who
b) I am not at all excited about this
Many of you may be asking "how can this be, surely not everybody in room 12 watches it?" To answer your question, no, this week we get to chose something we are currently addicted to. For me doctor who=addiction. Okay, time for the Q&A:
Explain a bit about it for those who DON'T know much about it.
(That's not a question, meh)
Doctor who is about a time traveler and his assistant (always a girl????) who go on adventures to different galaxies. The series has a mix a humor, terror, adventure and, unfortunately cliff hangers. Most of the episodes, in fact ALL of the episodes have aliens in them. That is not to surprising considering that the Doctor himself is an alien. He looks much like a human, but he has two hearts, is MUCH SMARTER than an average human. Oh yeah, he can also regenerate. In the doctor's case regeneration means that if he is in a situation where he is about to die he regenerates the doctor will changes his appearance and personality. Each time that happens he is played by a different actor I'm currently on David Tennant. Last thing, most of you are probably wondering, why are you calling him the doctor? That's because no one except the doctor knows his true name.
How long have you been interested in it?
Probably since  I was nine. That was when dad introduced it to me. It is 'kinda a family tradition that dad watches it with whoever is nine. It started with Elizabeth and hopefully will happen with Marama as well.

David Tennant's catchphrase
What is so great about it?
THE INTRO! Every time we start an episode I just stare at the T.V and my face just moves along with the tardis (the police box). I do not react to ANYTHING before the intro is over. To this day I don't know why my family think I'm weird. Apart from that I love the perfect balance of humor and action. The show leaves you sitting on the edge of your seat and will stay with you long after its finished. The characters are believable and interesting, each plot is better than the last. And don't even get me started on the plot twists! The show is perfect for anyone who likes being scared out of their mind one second, rolling around on the floor with laughter the next.
Today's fun fact is.....

The 50-star American flag was designed by an Ohio high school student for a class project. His teacher originally gave him a B–.
Well that's all for my favorite all for my blog post ever,

Focusing mostly mainly on Galapagos Islands, when evolution is proceeding at an AMAZING rate! Well on to the Q&A;
What you have learned/thought more about in our

Urrrrr, I already knew a bit about the Islands and a little about evolution but I never knew about survival of the fittest or that Charles Darwin went to Galapagos Islands. I've also learnt a lot about the animals there.
What would you like to learn more about in the next few weeks?
Well I'm not sure if this fits in with the topic but migration.....?

school roles

Image result for super hero gif
Hello, hello, HELLO,
How are you all? Lionblaze is in the house and its time to GET THIS PARTY STARTED!!!! Today I'm going to be talking about the rolls I have around the school. My rolls are, first aid monitor, librarian and road patroller. Okay docay time for the Q&A
How do you help others through these roles?
For the first aid I help people by giving them ice packs, plasters and help there friends comfort them. When I'm on library I recommend people books, issue books, return books and shelve books (I chose this role because of all the books involved). And finally being a road patroller, I help people by getting them across busy roads safely.
What do you enjoy about them?
Let me think...... I enjoy seeing kids leaving the first aid with a smile on there faces compered to there sad ones when they first entered. For the librarian roll I just love reading so anything with books involved is good for me. Last but not least is being a road patroller. I just like to see people across the road safely with out, you know without being hit by cars.
        What have you learned?
Well while been on first aid I have learned that it is REALLY hard to get splinters out of fingers and that some people are SUPER clumsy. After been on the library for so long I have learned the spelling for library AND the lay out of the schools library much better. For road patrol I have learnt a few road rules and how late buses usually are.
What have/do you find/found challenging?
Image result for warrior cats brightheart
#warriorcatbittersweetniss
Not that much, only the exact stuff to put on injuries like the right sized plaster or ointment and stuff like that. Nothing for the librarian roll, except maybe learning the lay out of the library at the start of the year. Again nothing much for been on road patrol, only how loud my voice needs to be when I'm shouting stuff like "signs out,", "check,", "clear,", "cross now, " and "signs in,"
Do you have any suggestions for changes which could be made to this role?
No suggestions for any of the roles except for first aid. We should  get trained A LOT earlier, I have been on for TWO TERMS and I STILL HAVE NOT BEEN TRAINED.
Today's fact is.......

*sigh* cross-country

Sup guys,
Well after the awesome subject of last week I should of guessed that all would fall, this post is about the horrors of CROSS COUNTRY! (It was actually a blessing when I broke my arm a few years ago.) *tears falling down my face* now for the Q&A of torture;
How did it go for you?
I did OK. Coming seventh is not the best I have ever done, but it's not horrible.
Do you feel like your fitness improved?
Image result for cross country gifsNo! I mean running a few kilometers isn't gonna improve my fitness.
Image result for warrior cats cute
#warriorcatcuteness
Do you feel that you showed perseverance?
Well I probably broke my lungs so yes, yes I think I showed perseverance.
What can you do to keep on improving your fitness and perseverance?
Urrrrrrrrrrrrr, my mum has a running club she goes to on Saturdays I could go to that now and then.
Today's fun fact is......

HiiiIIIiiiIIIiiiIIIiii,
Image result for throne of glass
Yesssssssss! OMG! finally I get to talk about books! Usually I would talk about warriors, but *sigh* I know at least 3 other people who will write about warriors so instead I'm going to talk about......... THRONE OF GLASS! *yay, smile, rainbows* Soooo instead of droning on like an idiot I'm just going to go start the BEST Q&A ever :3;
What is the title and author?
I've already told you the title, throne of glass whereas the author is Sarah J. Maas
What genre is it?
Urrr, probably fantasy, yeah definitely fantasy.
Describe plot and setting (but avoid spoilers)
Well its about. Wait no spoilers. OK its set in a different universe which still has kings and queens ruling over like every continent. The main character is called Celaena and she is basically a slave in a HORRIBLE salt mine, where everyone dies after two years there. The reason shes a slave is....... R-E-A-D T-H-E B-O-O-K
Haha, joking shes there 'cause..........Nah you gotta read the book. Warning this is a bloody and gruesome book,the exact opposite of rainbow fairies.
Which character did you relate to the most? Why?
Image result for throne of glassUmmmmmm, urrrrrrrrr, ??????????????????????, I think Celaena, because, URGGG I CAN NOT EXPLAIN WITHOUT SPOILING THE BOOK........so I'm just going to say READ THE BOOK!
Well that's the Q&A for today.

Today's fun fact is........(drum roll please)
Dogs can see there own farts!!!!!!

That's all for today,
Lionblazeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee OUT!

My goals!

Hello, hello Lionblaze is in the house!

Today's post is about something I'm pretty sure all of you have experienced, GOAL SETTING (noooo whyyyy!) Well at the end of the term me, my mum and my teacher got together and set some goals, like everyone in the class. Two of my goals were;
1. To read a book my mum recommended
Image result for goal setting gif2. To learn all my basic facts (especially times and division)
Okay, *sigh* time for the Q&A
What are going to do to complete these goals?
Well I'm already reading a book mum recommended, Mao's last dancer (its a really good book almost as good as warrior cats!) its going to be pretty easy to complete it all I need to do is, well read it. For the other goal I think I will practices them at home as well as school.
Do you think this will be easy or hard (wow this is the last question(:)
Like I said before I think that finishing Mao's last dancer will be quite easy it is just a matter of you know, not losing it like I already have..... three times. Learning basic facts off by heart I think will be hard, I know like half of them already but that took me, like 7 years    :( ,luckily that is including addition and subtraction.
Today's fun fact is......(drum roll please)
Apricots have been around for over 4000 years!
Well that is all I have room for,
